Position Summary:

The Archivist is responsible for the maintaining all documentation, both paper and electronic, according to Standard Operating Procedure and other regulatory guidelines. The Archivist provides support to facilities and laboratory staff through a variety of tasks and duties. 

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Files and maintains the Archives at Alturas Analytics, Inc. in an organized and indexed fashion in accordance with current Alturas Analytics, Inc. SOPs and GLP regulations
• Retrieves archived items upon request or in the event of a client/sponsor audit or regulatory inspection
• Notifies management and client when material has been archived for time period as described in appropriate guidance document (e.g. protocol, SOP, GLP, contract)
• Returns, ships, or disposes of material that has been archived for time period as described in appropriate guidance document (e.g. protocol, SOP, GLP, contract)
• Tracks physical archive expiration dates of materials

Additional Duties and Tasks:

• Performs other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 1-2 years of work experience
• Excellent knowledge of complete MS Office suite
• Excellent knowledge of complete Adobe Acrobat suite
• Previous database management experience preferred
• Previous experience in regulated environment preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify the appropriate personnel for this position
